    Harrison's Song

Posted by Maria Carvalho on 6th May 2022

Harrison's Song is a sweet, inspiring story with a beautiful message for kids: follow your dreams, no matter what obstacles you may face. What makes this story resonate with such authenticity is the fact that it is the true story of the author, Harrison Craig, who grew up with a stutter that made it hard for him to communicate as well as making him a target for bullying. But Harrison did not let any of this stop him from pursuing his passion for singing, and he went on to win The Voice Australia and become a platinum-selling artist and beloved performer. Craig tells his story with such sweet sincerity that children will easily be able to relate to it; the story is never heavy-handed or preachy, and it will have kids rooting for Harrison as he faces his challenges head-on. Parents and children alike will appreciate the book's themes of anti-bullying and believing in yourself to follow your dreams. Highly recommended!
