Rhiza Press is the home of children's publisher, Wombat Books, and Rhiza Edge including the Rhiza Shorts list.
Wombat Books has been sharing stories and creating memories with families for over fifteen years, and our imprint for teenagers at the edge of childhood, Rhiza Edge started in 2018. As an independent boutique publisher, we love to find those unique stories that connect us all. Our passion is children’s fiction with pages filled with readable and loveable characters, relatable teen fiction and are growing our adult fiction in the coming years under Rhiza Press.
We also run Living Stone Books a small imprint for faith-inspired stories.
Based in Country Queensland with a growing list of titles, we plan to expand increasing our publishing schedule with distribution both locally and internationally.
We offer engaging stories that relate to everyday readers.
At Rhiza Press we are passionate about debut and emerging as well as established authors and illustrators. Submissions are open throughout the year for authors.
