Rhiza Press is an independent publisher in Australia that distributes around the world. We are an independent growing publisher creating quality books to respect, love, share and connect with. We publish books with new and established authors. Wombat Books began in 2009 with a range of books but is refined to be our children's list for primary school aged children. Rhiza Edge is our imprint for teen fiction, with the Rhiza Shorts list having been created for reluctant or disengaged teen readers.
Wombat Books will consider new publications through a traditional process from predominantly Australian authors. We are primarily interested in books for children including picture books, early readers and middle fiction.
Rhiza Press was founded by Rochelle Stephens, director and publisher. In 2018, Rhiza Edge was developed as a young adult imprint connected to Wombat, for books between the child and adult audience.
Rhiza Press has published a range of non-fiction, fiction and faith inspired words for adults and teens.
In the future faith based books will be published under the Living Stone Books imprint.
