After a career in Nursing, Lois is now a full-time artist and illustrator. Her large bird paintings are sold from Bruny Island, Tasmania, and are in private collections around the world.
She is self-taught and lives south of Hobart, overlooking the Derwent River. Instead of retiring like her husband, Graham, Lois has started a new career in illustrating and Annabel's Dance is her first venture into picture books.
Easily distracted by a new grandson, Lois also loves walking, cooking, family times and has a new West Highland White puppy.
