We offer these through our consultancy service of Book Whispers. This is not the same as a pitch. There is no obligation to submit to Wombat Books and this does not constitute a submission. There is an option to click in the form below if you would like your manuscript considered a pitch.
What do you get?
- The appraiser will read through at least the first 3000 words of your story
- Recommendations on publishing approaches
- Marketability of your title
- Things that work
- Things that don't work
- Recommendations for age range (or advice if you should adjust)
- Advice on general editing
- Short clarification phone call/email after the assessment is completed to get you started in improving your story is optional if it will help you.
When you've completed your order, please submit the details of your manuscript on the below form. Turnaround time on most appraisals is 4 weeks. The form gives instructions on where to email your manuscript. We can refer authors for further editing after the appraisal is complete if desired.
