Jeanette Stampone was born in a three-hundred-year-old English house and grew up with stories of local legends, pixies, ghosts, and fairies. She now lives in a small country town in WA with her husband and two boys.
Jeanette’s debut picture book, Shadow and the Girl will be published by Red Paper Kite in March 2022.
Jeanette completed the Australian Writers’ Centre course, Writing Picture Books and Jen Storer’s Junior Fiction. She is regularly involved in a picture book critique group, and is an active member of the Society of Children’s Writers and Illustrators.
