Where are your titles available?
Wombat Books, Rhiza Edge and Rhiza Press titles are available through all good Australian bookstores in print format, and in ebook format online.
What type of books to do you publish?
Rhiza Edge aims to publish relatable, issue-based stories for today's young adult readers, ranging from books with a light, humorous touch through to deeper, more challenging tales.
Can I buy books from your website?
Yes. Website purchases can be made direct, however, we encourage you to also look for our books at your local stores, in your libraries or at your favourite online bookseller.
Are your books available in ebook/Kindle?
Yes, they are available in all ebook formats and from a range of ebook suppliers. You can find them here, on Amazon, Google Books, etc.
Do you ship books overseas?
You can purchase our books from all your favourite suppliers around the world.
I am a member of the media. How can I request a review copy?
Please contact us for media requests or interviews with authors.
Do you have an editor to look at the book?
Yes, we have editors that will look at the book. However, ensure your manuscript is well edited before submission to a publisher
Do you offer manuscript appraisals?
No. If you have a manuscript appraisal done however we will consider that in our decisions for publication.
I am interested in organising an author visit to our school or library, how can I arrange this?
Many of our current authors are available for school visits and workshops. Please contact us for information. Or look on the individual author and illustrator pages.
How many titles do you take a year?
We generally only take about 6-10 titles each year depending on the nature of the book.
What is your time frame for considering a manuscript?
It will take anywhere between 4 and 6 months.
What royalties do you give?
Our royalties are based on the Australian Society of Authors standards.
