Early Reader Submissions: Pitch us a series!

Dear authors,

If you are preparing for our submission opening period in January and February we are very interested in new early reader/junior fiction series.

These can be aimed at children 6-10 years with varying word counts of 1000-10000 words depending on the target reader. Less words means more art in a book. And we are looking for the full range between this. We love early readers and junior fiction.

Only extra thing we really want is great series potential. Some of our current early reader/junior fiction titles range between two books and 5+ in the series. We love series as long as we can see the potential of building characters in the first book that can lead to more stories.

Check out some of our junior reader series as you prepare to pitch! We have space open for new early reader and junior fiction for our 2026 and 2027 list so we look forward to reading your ideas!

When you pitch an early reader we would like the first book to be complete and a synopsis or plot line for at least one more story. We will announce all details in January. Hope this helps your submission planning :)
