Rhiza Press has announced the acquisition of fellow independent Australian publisher Riveted Press in a deal that will come into effect on 1 October 2026.
Riveted Press will join the Rhiza Press publishing group, established by Rochelle Stephens, and will continue to publish under the Riveted Press name alongside existing Rhiza Press imprints Wombat Books and Rhiza Edge.
Rowena Beresford will continue in her role as Publisher of Riveted Press, overseeing acquisitions and editorial development.

I look forward to becoming part of the Rhiza Press family and supporting the growth of its publishing program,’ said Beresford.

The first title from the Riveted Press imprint will be Escape from Circus Surreal by Rachel Jackson, releasing 15 October 2026.
