Product Overview

'We're so lucky,' said Gran. 'We've just enough for two.'

Jess and Gran have always made the best of everything. When there’s not much for dinner, they cook oodles of noodles. When there’s no cake for birthdays, they toast marshmallows on the stove.

When it snows in the mountains, Jess longs to go. But there’s no extra money for a holiday this year.

So Jess finds a way to see the most amazing snow of all.

Jacaranda Snow is about one family that lives with less money but plenty of love and optimism.

    Jacaranda Snow

This is gorgeous book about a girl and her grandmother who don’t have much but make the most of everything. But when it comes to a holiday in the snow, it really seems there is no way to make that possible. Or is there? This is such a lovely heartwarming story about family and making the most of what you have. It really shows young readers that material things are not that important if you have love and imagination. The soft illustrations are lovely and draw you into the story. I am writing this review as a contracted Wombat author but this is entirely my personal opinion.
