Jevita Nilson is a children’s author with a love for nature, words, and all things wondrous. She is the author of three picture books: Happy Hearts (2020), Our World Full of Wonder (2024), and Our World of Wild Wonders (2025). Her book Our World Full of Wonder was shortlisted for the Wilderness Society’s Environment Award for Children’s Literature and Speech Pathology Australia’s Book of the Year Awards in 2025.
Jevita writes picture books and junior fiction that inspire young readers to explore, imagine, and care for the world around them. When she’s not crafting stories, Jevita works in Human Resources and manages the administration for her husband’s landscaping business. She lives in sunny Perth with her husband, two kids and one-year-old Golden Retriever.
