Billie Rooney is a children’s author of picture books and middle-grade fiction. Her first children’s book, Creature Corridors was published in 2025 by CSIRO Publishing. Many of her books are inspired by her passion for the environment and children’s curious connection to the world around them.
Billie works as a part-time lecturer in early childhood and environmental education, through which she gets to share her love of books and literature.
